Remembering Sonia Nabeta

We lost a type one hero, Sonia Nabeta, on August 5, 2015. Several months after that, the Sonia Nabeta Foundation (SNF) was born so that type 1 diabetes (T1D) stops being a death sentence for afflicted children in Africa.

From day 1 of the Sonia Nabeta Foundations purpose-driven mission. They have enabled a measurable impact in the lives of children with type 1 diabetes (aka warriors).

Over the next 5 days, we invite you to join us on social media in what we are calling the “conquerthon” to share with us a time when you conquered a challenge, when you turned a storm into a bright and sunny day.

Here’s how to participate:

  1. Create a short video, instastory, Facebook story, tweet or post and tell us how you conquered a difficult time.
  2. Include a quick line “This is why I join SNF in the conquerthon”.
  3. Tag @sonianabetafoundation in the video
  4. Hashtag #Conquerthon

For each story shared, SNF will receive $5.
