Healthy and Nutritious Lean and Green Smoothie

Starting your day with a smoothie can be a game-changer for your health. Smoothies have numerous benefits, such as boosting bowel movements, detoxifying your body, and promoting overall wellness. By skipping solid foods in the morning, your body doesn’t have to spend energy digesting, and your intestines can easily absorb the nutrients from the smoothie.

This efficient absorption of nutrients helps your body to effectively utilize its stored energy for cleansing, making it an excellent way to improve your health. The Fab Four recipe collection is based on four fundamental components: protein, fat, fiber, and greens. Incorporating these elements into your diet is crucial in maintaining a feeling of fullness and regulating blood sugar levels.

Protein: Helps build and maintain muscle, neurotransmitters, hormones, and immune cells.

Fat: Keeps your cells and hormones healthy and functioning properly.

Fiber: Feeds your gut bacteria, which keeps your gut working as it should.

Greens: Provide the necessary vitamins and antioxidants to fight inflammation and infections.

Green Smoothie Ingredients:

Method of Preparation:

  1. Add all ingredients into a blender except ice. Blend for 1 minute until yogurt texture is present.
  2. Add ice to cool smoothie, blend for another minute and serve.

Recipe Note:

Chia or flax seeds are a great add-in to consider. Their health benefits are vast. They promote improved digestion, are known to improve blood sugar levels, and support heart health. Consuming chia seeds early in the day is ideal for women suffering from reproductive health issues and pre-existing hormonal conditions.
