Olive Oil Magic Soft Shell Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Kyoord High-phenolic extra-virgin Olive Oil
- 4 ounces chopped dark chocolate or chips (we suggest chocolate with a 60% cacao percentage or higher)
- 1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt, or to taste
Method of Preparation
- Add the chopped chocolate or chips to a medium, heat-safe bowl and set it aside.
- Over medium heat, warm the olive oil in a small saucepan until it simmers, which occurs at about 275 degrees. Remove from heat before it starts to boil.
- Pour the warm olive oil over the chocolate, and stir until smooth using a silicone spatula or whisk. Stir until smooth—season with salt to taste.
- Spoon it over your favorite cold desserts, like ice cream, great for dipping frozen bananas, or drizzle it over milkshakes!
